Terms of Use

By using PlaylistSafe — in particular by logging in with your Spotify account — you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service.

PlaylistSafe takes snapshots of your Spotify playlists and liked songs (metadata only: track URIs, names, artists, added dates) and stores them so you can browse, download, and restore them later. Restores always create a new playlist — the service never edits or deletes your existing playlists.

We work hard to make backups reliable (snapshots are verified complete before being stored), but no backup service can guarantee zero data loss. Backups depend on Spotify's API being available and on your account connection remaining valid. Keep the CSV or JSON exports of anything you truly cannot lose.

The paid plan is billed by Stripe monthly or yearly and can be canceled anytime via "Manage billing"; paid features last until the end of the billed period. After that, retention shrinks to the free plan's window and scheduled backups stop — existing snapshots within the free window are kept.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of PlaylistSafe shall not be liable for any loss of data — including playlists that could not be backed up or restored — or for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

PlaylistSafe is an independent tool built on the Spotify Web API. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spotify. Spotify is a trademark of Spotify AB. You can revoke this tool's access at any time on your Spotify account's Apps page.
