Spotify Liked Songs disappeared? What to check

Liked Songs isn’t a normal playlist — you can’t delete it, and Recover playlists doesn’t cover it. When it looks empty, the songs are usually still on your account.

Check these first

  1. 1Open the web player (open.spotify.com): if your likes are there, it’s a sync problem on one device.
  2. 2Confirm the account: accounts made with Facebook, Google, Apple or email are separate, each with its own likes.
  3. 3Log out and back in; moderators often suggest doing it twice to force a full refresh.
  4. 4Reinstall the app or clear its cache if one device keeps showing the wrong list.

If they’re really gone

Contact Spotify Support. If someone else had access to your account, secure it first (see the hacked-account guide).
